Rhinokine

I have a friend who carves the most beautiful pieces out of bone.

Everyone in my family has a custom piece (except Cody who does not like to wear necklaces) that he carved just for us. You might remember the one Cory got for graduation.

And Mia and I each have a whale tail that he carved for us from an image I showed him.

I found a picture of a dolphin that I gave to him a few weeks back and he carved Mia and I the most gorgeous pieces yet.

Such a true gift to be able to make beautiful things like this. Mia and I treasure the ones he created for us. They have special meaning in our shared love for dolphins and our passion to see them swim free. Another reason we treasure them is we love Rhino and his Aloha friendship with us!

Aloha: The literal meaning of aloha is “the presence of breath” or “the breath of life.” It comes from “Alo,” meaning presence, front and face, and “ha,” meaning breath. Aloha is a way of living and treating each other with love and respect. It’s deep meaning starts by teaching ourselves to love our own beings first and afterwards to spread the love to others.
