I am Jody, wife to Bill and mom to 4 kiddos, ages 13 (boy), 10(boy), 7(boy) and 4(girl…holy cow). We used to live in a very small town in the middle of a the country ….a town much like Mayberry, but with a brewery. In August of 2007 we uprooted our family from the little town we loved and moved to the coast, ruining our children’s lives FOREVAH!!! We bought a 31 foot sailboat and spend most of our free time torturing the kids by forcing them to cruise with us in what basically amounts to paradise. ;*)

Moving was certainly an adjustment for the kids, but they have settled into coastal life and make pretty adorable beach bums.

There is a saying here in our new beach town. We say it during good times and bad, and we have adopted it as our motto as well:

“It’s just another day in paradise”

…….and so it is!
