    Ok — what’s the story behind this amazing picture. Jellyfish or man-of-war, where, which lens? By the way, I love that song. Haven’t thought of it in –20 years!!

    Tiny jelly fish, I cant remember which kind. I used my 18-135 lens, ISO 1600, no flash. We went to an aquarium for our end of the year field trip. The kids has so much fun, but I have to admit that seeing a tanked dolphin was so against my anti-marine park stance. It is so much more fascinating to see them free and in the bay riding the bow of our boat……this coming from a dolphin trainer. Ironic, huh?

    Cool picture! Is it a jellyfish or what?

    I do have to admit it gives me the willies a little bit. When I was a child my dad was stung by something in the ocean and had to go to the hospital. I remember him screaming, which I had never seen before, and it was very traumatizing!

    That is a spectacular aquarium. We went there the first year it opened, and Caitlin loved it. Yeah, the dolphins imprisoned is unnerving. I will never forget your story of the poor, h*rny dolphin you worked with. YIKES! That is why we shouldn’t cage dolphins…
