Just wanted to let you know that this post inspired me to stop polluting our planet with the throwaway (we recycled them, but still) single use bottles! I got Siggs, and love them so far. I have to ask you, though, if you are carting them back and forth from house to boat? Why not get a second set (besides the obvious reason of cost)?

Those DO look nice! I carry a water bottle with me all day. But mine's just plastic and won't last forever - I'll have to check into these.

They are purty! :)

(It really does read like a sponsored post. I think they should give you 2 free water bottles for it!)

At work I'm drinking out of a 36 oz (I think) plastic water bottle (type 2 plastic). I've been wanting to make a switch.

How heavy are the bottles as compared to a heavy duty plastic bottle? My bag is already pretty hefty with dinner, water bottle and various other items packed in there.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news... they do dent. They are made in my hometown and are everywhere around here, so I see a lot of them. Lovely, though. I can't manage to get a hold of one myself, and am still drinking out of plastic, sigh.

Yup, but not like aluminum. The other plus is they are the same size as the water bottles we use for our road bikes, so they fit the bike water racks. Grab one and try it out! Water tastes nice and fresh in them..

I love that you don't do advertising posts. It wouldn't work with you and your blog. I come here for refreshing honesty and an unblinking look at life, love and great ocean views.

(and a bit of rum...can you spare a drop of rum? lol)

Come on down.....although right now the drink of choice is Tecate Light with some lime....trying to shed some extra poundage.
