		<description>Last year (??), the newly non-Governor of Maine and his family did a year&#039;s RV&#039;ing around the country, and gave periodic reports on NPR.  There was another family where the mom wrote articles for Salon.  And years ago, I lusted after the cross-country adventures of Vicki Austin and her family, the summer before they moved to New York.  (I had a total thing for the Austin books my L&#039;Engle.)

All of which is just to say, I also love the idea of homeschooling it for a year and traveling.  But there is no way my husband could survive: he&#039;s very much an introvert and the kids, in that small space, would probably cause permanent mental damage to the poor man.  So this is a dream deferred, and lived vicariously for me.  Glad to see there are new places to look.
