and baby makes 6!

It's just another day in paradise

Home again

We are home, and trying to get settled in. Quinn is great. Sore, but great. He did not have any complications at all.

As for the surgery and was it successful?…. yes and no. The doc was pleased about some things, and disappointed about others. I will get into that on Monday when I have more time. Right now, I have a 5yo clomping around the house in a walker (yes, a walker), and 2 big kids that haven’t seen us in 2 days.

A photo journal……I also uploaded all the pics to my Flickr album at right!

Waiting in pre-op

After the pre-op Versed……now I know what my 5yo would be like after drinking a couple of strong margaritas……(for me, this was the worst part….it was hard watching him like this):

Versed on board

Praise God for getting to post-op, 1 1/2 hours after surgery started:

I am so glad all went reasonably well. I’ll send him tons of healing vibes and keep him in my thoughts.

  2. It’s sad and funny at the same time to see our kids doped up, huh? Mine acts like a belligerant drunk, with hitting, biting, and kicking. It was no picnic

Thanks Karen! I think the vibes worked! He is back to his old self now!

Sandy- I totally hated the versed for him. And you are right, it is sad and funny. More sad. To me it was like seeing Quinn with a head injury. I used to work pedi-rehab, and we had quite a few head injury kiddos, and that is how he acted, so it was hard for me.
