The wind is howling
A cold front has finally made its way here. The wind is blowing and it is grey and overcast. Pecans and leaves are falling from the trees. I have the air conditioner off and the doors open for the first time in weeks.
Soup is on the menu for tonight, with warm bread. Mia is napping on the bed and the boys are watching a movie. In a few minutes Bill will be home, then we will all be together for a cozy evening.
Sometimes, I feel so content and happy I could almost burst.
