Another argument for naps
A Lecture screamed to me tearfully by 5yo Quinn this afternoon after a fun filled, exhausting time at the park:
“Why do you make me do EVERYTHING around here. I mean, you make me shut the door on my side of the car when I get out. ”
” You make me close the gate so Mimi can’t get hit by a car. You make me pick up my toys and you make me put away Mia’s puzzles. It is not fair. I have to do EVERYTHING around here.”
Then he knocked back a shot of bourbon milk and passed out on the couch.
Can you hear the silence?

awww, he looks so peaceful there. that milk must of been served straight up *wink*
And he looks like a blooming ANGEL. Shame on you, defaming that sweet child.
He is a total doll baby! I love watching him sleep. Poor thing was sooo tired. He played so hard at the park, I knew we were in for a meltdown.
Hey– totally off topic, but do you like your leather furniture? Please say yes, because I am expecting delivery any day now of TWO leather couches and I am so excited!
Mary, mom to many
Mary, I totally love that couch. It is so soft and comfy. You would think with 4 kids that it would be scratched to death, but no. Nary a scratch. The leather is soft, but not so soft that it lost its durablility.
Post some pics of your couches when you get them! Enjoy them!
