Susie, we had something going on each day as well. Parent appreciation, teacher appreciation, talent show, pancake breakefast and open house, pastry for parents. It was fun.

Paula, no we are not Catholic, although there is so much about Catholicism that I can relate to. We are Lutheran (sort of). We just love the school and the fact that they are being taught about God as well as history and such. It is a wonderful school.

Lisa, LOLOLOL!!! Did you find the keys?

Misti, thanks for the hugs. It is so unbelievable how fast they can get hurt.

Jodi, yes! Wine and a non-panicing husband!

Belinda, We didn’t go to the hospital, although I was screaming that we should. My husband is a Physician Assistant, and much more calm than myself, so he checked her while I disintegrated in the background. Also, every physician in town was there. When she first hit her head, she did that silent cry thing, where you sit there going “Breathe, breathe”. Then when she started crying again, she went limp etc. Bill thinks she got a bit oxygen deprived and hence the limpness etc.

She was running laps around the house by 9pm. We kept her awake for hours, and she co-sleeps with us. I didn’t sleep all night. I just lay there watching her. The one thing that occured to me, was how fast things can happen.

It is just too dang scary when they hit their heads.

Now, Belinda, breathe, breathe.

Oh Good Gosh! Did you go to the hospital? Did you make her stay awake for hours in case she had a concussion? Did I miss these details by scanning too fast because once I got to the “eyes rolled back in her head” I couldn’t BREATHE??????

Poor Mia! And poor Jody! You had a rough week! Good thing that wine is organized so you know where to find it! LOL

Are you Catholic? Or is it just a good school? Just curious. I am Catholic, and believe me worse things have flown out of my mouth (but not at church–yet).

How scary for you! Thank Goodness she’s OK! Our grandsons go to Catholic School too. One is in 1st grade and one is in 7th grade. They had Catholic Schools week last week. Friday was Family Lunch Day and their talent show! Guess it must be pretty standard no matter where they go to school. Did yours have mismatch day, twin day and red, white and blue day too?? There was something going every day of last week!

o my gosh, that is so scarey. two of my boys have suffered concusions
after hitting their head on a floor. It was so awful and 911 wass called one of those times.
I am so glad she is okay,whew!! Lots of hugs fo her and you/.
