We’ve had those kind of dates, too. I always find it annoying, as I get a little nervous and try too hard. Usually the more special the occasion is supposed to be, the less well the date goes!

Sounds like a great night. My husband and I have 2 girls (14 & almost 18). Time flies and I can hardly believe that the girls are almost gone. We still enjoy date night and our friends laugh at us considering we have been married for over 18 years. There are sometimes he just sits and listens. I think he might be in another world and then he comes back.

I so understand. Did you know tho, that sometimes, splinters will come out all on your own if it you give it long enough? The body just regects them and hardens around until it is pushed out. I think men are like that with their troubles sometimes. Digging for it is only going to give you complaints and a bloody mess. LOL
