I am currently nursing an almost 3 yr old myself. While pregnant, I started attending LLL meetings, though my Mom had not nursed me, and my mother-in-law nursed for 6 weeks. The other day, I mentioned that I needed to nurse my daughter for a nap, and she said, "you're still doing that?!!!" I just ignored it. I thank God I am still nursing, as last week, she had a touch of flu and wouldn't eat, but did nurse & got over it really quick of course. Nursing is a natural thing, made by God, why can't people understand that its better for their child than the 'fake' thing (formula)??? Again, thanks for the encouragment.
