My house is a tiny snake magnet
This has to be the smallest snake I have ever seen. It is obviously a baby, but dayum.
I am thinking it is a very, very newborn garter snake.
For everyone out there who officially has the heebie jeebies and will NEVAH enter my house….it was actually found in the front yard. Yah!! for not finding it in the bathroom like the last one!
In other more pressing news, it appears that Quinn might have RSV. We actually made plans as to who will take him to the hospital and who will stay home with the other kids if the need arises tonight. Hopefully the nebulizer etc. will work and we will not have to do that, but I wanted to make the plans so that we are not trying to decide in the middle of the night while I am a frantic, spastic maniac, wringing my hands and chanting “He is so sick Bill. Oh my God” over and over. Pray for Bill.
Nite nite!

Your brave! If I found a snake in MY house, I would move, for sure!
I hope your little one is alright. My youngest was a preemie, and despite getting the Synagis shot every month, she ended up with RSV. I will be thinking of your family tonight, and hopefully he feels better!
hope he feels better soon!
That snake is cute, probably because he is little.
I hope your boy Quinn (very cool name btw) is better. We seem to have use nebulizer at least once every winter
Hope Quinn is OK! I would n.o.t be OK with snakes in or around me. Lizards, maybe, snakes no way!!!
That is insane! I didn’t think any snakes started out THAT small. Now I am officially freaked out! RSV!!! How old is Quinn???
I hope you killed that damn thing. The snake that is.
When I bought my rowhouse 15 years ago in the city, it needed a lot of rehab. Still working on it. My sister lived with me the first few years. We were working on the full bath, so open walls, exposed pipes, etc. I walk in there one day after work and found about a 12 inch rubber snake hanging on the towel rack. Made me jump back and scream. I found my sister, “haha, you got me, very funny”. Her reaction was all innocence. She hadn’t done anything! We both go back and watch horrified as the “rubber” snake starts moving, drops and crawls down the opening by the pipes. That hole got stuffed with a lot of steel wool. Never saw it again, have no idea what kind it was or where it came from.
That is actually very cute! We found an itty bitty snake in our yard recently too and I was amazed–I’ve never seen a snake in town before, even though we don’t live in anthing resembling “the big city” I just wasn’t expecting it.
I hope Quinn doesn’t have RSV! Such a nasty virus.
