    I’m not sure when the “be self sufficient” tendency in me started? Probably way back. As a child of an alcoholic you learn that to depend on someone else inevitably means you will be left disappointed. Once I was on my own I prided myself on being a problem solver, and yes it is one of my strong suites…. however now and then when life gets tough I wish everyone didn’t always assume I’d be able to deal. Now and then it would be nice to be one of those women people want to take care of! Not always… just now and then. Everyone needs a Bill in their life… at least now and then.

    Cute! When my husband gets home, he always plays a monster tickle game with the girls; on the bed just like Bill.
