Lewis: “I do not think the forest would be so bright, nor the water so warm, nor love so sweet, if there were no danger in the lakes.” Not that we look for danger in the lakes nor wish it upon people (I didn't want you to interpret it that way) but rather that when it's there we tend to see things more clearly. Not that we look for danger in the lakes nor wish it upon people (I didn’t want you to interpret it that way) but rather that when it’s there we tend to see things more clearly.
