I know you already thought of that, but in my mind you cannot make a mistake. The boat can be enjoyed, hopefully by all in good health, and if it turns out to not be as fun as you had hoped, or if you ever need the money for the kids or college or retirement or whatever, you can sell it. So I think all will be well! I think it is stressful to spend a lot of money on something like a house or a boat or a car or just name the dream, BUT if it turns out to be something that is not ok later, you can always sell the boat!!!! I know you already thought of that, but in my mind you cannot make a mistake. We do have a few skeletons in the closet. Did you notice that that white sail is missing battens???? How do you sail a mainsail without battens. And it is white!!! Teh previous owner was not even aware of the missing battens. We have an answer to your worries......we will be outfitting the boat with a new spinnaker, and will include all of those brilliant colors in the sail design. It will be lovely on the horizon! LOL!!! Soon enough ( Trust me on this one) College tuition and Weddings will be what impacts the budget. I know for a fact they aren't nearly as much fun as a sailboat. Years ago we has a bonus that we probably should have invested toward the above mentioned but we used it to buy a house in the mountains. Our kids grew up skiing on winter weekends and having a fun place to host friends. In the end even though we don't use it as much now as we should, it will always be a place that brought our family closer. In my book worth every cent! Have fun on Ms Moby MAk Jody
