and baby makes 6!

It's just another day in paradise

Pretty in pink.

When we bought this old house, everything in it was pink…..the walls, the ceiling, the carpet, the bathroom, the kitchen counter tops, the oven……………and I mean everything.  Even the paint on the outside was pink.

Needless to say, we got rid of all the pink…..but we decided to keep one room with its original color…..the bathroom. Here is Mia, ready for a bath in the pink bathroom!

Pretty in pink

Isn’t she perfect…I mean, really!!

As I speak, the last of the pink paint on the outside is vanishing. In addition, the guy is here power-washing the brick….it is so shiny and wonderful looking now!! I expect to have some "after" pictures to post sometime early next week.  I promise!

  1. Hi Tina! Love your antique links on your web page!

Chris, what is it with pink in old houses? LOL I will have to post our “before pics” when we first bought the house and started ripping all the carpet and wall paper out. It was disorienting because everything was pink….sort of the same sensation as one would have if they walked into an all black house!

  2. She is adorable :-)

I just painted over pink bathroom walls and last year painted over the pink foyer walls, that had been beautifully accented with baby blue trim work. Gag.

  3. Be thankful that it wasn’t brown. We built our house in the 70s and did everything in earth tones. The only thing it was good for was covering up dirt. We have recently redecorated and went with light colors. The bathroom is green and coral! WIth light tan ceramic tiles… looks great!
