Beautiful! I officially have bathroom envy. I have three bathrooms in my house but not a one as cool as that one! That last picture looks like the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island. It can’t be though, right?

Congrats!!! It’s beautiful. We are moving from Michigan to Indiana on the 23rd. Not quite as beautiful as where you are going, but still wonderful just the same.

I am so very excited for you. I know how hard it is to pick up and move away. We did just that 3 years ago but opposite of you. Yes, I miss the smell of the ocean every night, I miss the marine layer I would bitch about every morning. But we have adjusted, made friends and everyone is happy.
I am so very jealous that you will be moments from that beautiful ocean. I am hoping to get back in another three years but to Oregon. I am holding out hope that is where we end up.

As one who is in the midst of updating an old house, I am a tad bit envious. I once heard from a friend, her favorite part of buying a new house is that nobody will have been naked in the shower before her. So, here’s to being the first one naked!

I hope the move goes smoothly..and that emotions smooth out too.

I’m so excited and happy for you!!. I hope that the transition goes well for your children. We moved ours into a new country and 900 miles from familiy and friends and they rebounded beautifully with the spirit that belongs to youth:-)

I’m so happy that you have made a brave, bold decision. Not doing this is the kind of thing that some people regret all of their lives.

I’m confused, though, and have a couple of questions. I know you have been mulling this over for a long time. How far is the new house from Bill’s work and your current small town? The “new” town is Galveston, correct? I read back many pages but couldn’t find the answers!
