A day of relaxing and casting
The little Diva fishing.
Love the mouth action here as Bill tries to set a hook.
You would think he landed a shark or somthing.
The poor, transparent, nervous bait.
And guess who caught the best fish of the day???
As soon as she figured out she had a fish on her Disney Princess’ fishing pole, she dropped it and ran away. I grabbed the pole before it was dragged into the channel and reeled in her little flounder as she stood by grossing out.

Hi Jody,
I am blissing out catching up on your blog. I had subscribed to it but for some reason the feed didn’t take and all this time I thought you hadn’t been posting lately!
More to enjoy now!
I resubscribed and hopefully that will do it.
Take care!
Leeann
ps- how’s the homeschooling going?
This looks like so much fun! Is the canal close to your house? I am so proud of Miss Mia — Charles and I always enjoyed jigging for flounder on the Alabama coast– what a tasty fish to catch! You seem to have no shortage of family activities down there.
Great pictures. Looks like Mia enjoyed herself!
I have a feeling my daughter will do the same thing the first time she catches anything too!
